Presentation of ALPOLIC A1 at ARCHITECT WORK in London

Successful premiere: ALPOLIC™ A1 at the ARCHITECT@WORK in London

February 2020

ALPOLICTM A1 was presented to an interested trade audience at the exclusive ARCHITECT@WORK architectural event in London for the first time. ALPOLICTM A1 is the world's first aluminium composite material (ACM) to be classified according to the European fire protection standard DIN EN 13501-1 for the building material for fire protection class Euroclass A1. This means that the material is non-combustible and does not produce any smoke in the event of fire. Added to this are the excellent product properties such as excellent flatness, low weight and good formability. ALPOLICTM A1 is therefore recommended for numerous applications in the building industry or in architecture - for example, for façades and roofs - as a fire safe and at the same time aesthetically pleasing solution. Visitors to the trade fair were consistently enthusiastic, as ALPOLICTM A1 therefore offers an ideal sustainable alternative to façade materials made of metal or other cladding materials used for ventilated rainscreen cladding façade systems. With this milestone in the development of aluminium composite panels, ALPOLICTM once again demonstrates its innovative strength and high safety standards, which are reflected in the BE.SAFE. corporate philosophy.
